*Made for the September 2018 Apple Recipe Challenge*

Although these look weird (mainly around the edges) they tasted really good! Not sure why the edges looks so "crinkly" or whatever. The only other problem with these was that I could not get them to crisp up in my waffle maker no matter how long I left them in. Wonder if there was too much moisture from the shredded apples? I feel as if I would have squeezed the apple through a dish cloth, that would have helped. Oh and if you use plain, unsweetened yogurt, and are planning on eating these without syrup, you may want to add a little sugar to them. Delicious flavors!!

Great photo, Mommyluvs2cook! Wonderful to see first thing in the morning. It's making me hungry. I tried making waffles when we first got married. Never could get the hang of it so I gave the waffle iron away.
