    Asiago Sausage Biscuits

I'm not a big breakfast eater but need a little something mid morning so I don't overeat later. These biscuits were ideal!
My review: Delicious!! and very easy to make. After cutting the butter into the flour mix I added the sausage and cheese, tossed to coat with flour, then added the butter milk. I did this so I would not overmix the dough. I guesstimated the amount of crumbled sausage to use because I did not have slices and I used a Colby and Cheddar blend. They looked like they needed some color so I added a little dried parsley just because. I made half the recipe and got 8 good sized biscuits. Very tasty and ideal if you don't like a big heavy breakfast.

(The battery in my camera needed charging so I used my ipad, not the best picture, and didn't attach to the post but did to the recipe)

What a neat recipe Linda! I've seen bacon in biscuits but never sausage. I like that you added Colby and cheddar, I think that would go better with a breakfast sausage. Your photo looks good on the recipe page! It shows off the size and texture well. :)

Camera is charged so I took another photo and attached it to the recipe but can't delete the first photo I took. The second one is remarkably better Shona, a good camera makes the world of difference. I must learn patience, must learn patience (LOL!).

Oh yes, that's a wonderful picture Linda! You can see the airy texture much better. Hahaha, I'm same as you with patience...."Patience is bitter, but it's fruit is sweet"! ;)

Great photo, LindaLMT! The biscuit recipe looks and sounds delightful. It's amazing the difference between cameras. I'm so glad you are enjoying your new camera. DH gave me some "easy to understand" information on F-stops the other day. I'm hoping it will help with my photos.

Thanks Shona, Thanks DIZ. I need to get much better at staging. Your photos are great DIZ. I would and should get to know my camera more. I'm sure it's capable of all kinds of things and photography in itself is an art to be learned for sure.

They look delicious Linda and I`m still thinking they`d be an awesome thing to have on hand if one had guests staying over, or putting out along with a breakfast buffet board. I know you`re not a fan of eggs but the biscuit would also make a very fun breakfast sandwich.

Too cool it's an all in one breakfast biscuit! These would be great to have on hand for my husband when he has to leave for work at 4am, love the pictures!

I would love to stage my food better, but I never have the time! I feel like we are always hurrying to eat and be somewhere. When the kiddos move out maybe I'll have more time and patience for it lol :P
