Asiago Sausage Biscuits Recipe
These are some of the most delightful and tasty biscuits I have ever eaten. They are light and fully and loaded with sausage and asiago cheese tastes. Enjoy.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons cold butter cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 slices breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup grated asiago cheese

Directions
  1. Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
  2. Cut in butter using pastry knife until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add buttermilk and stir just enough to form a ball.
  4. Fold in sausage and cheese then drop heaping tablespoonfuls on baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 450 for 12 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately.
