Cheese Ravioli With Pumpkin Sauce

    *Made for the October 2017 Pumpkin/Halloween Recipe Challenge*

    I was thinking when I went to make this that it would be way too much pumpkin and spice flavor to go with savory cheese ravioli. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it! I do think the sauce was really thick and "gloopy" though, maybe thinned out more with chicken stock? Kept thinking it would have been even better as a filling inside of ravioli with a parmesan butter sauce on top. Overall though, I LOVED the flavors and the spices and it made a nice lunch :)

    Beautiful Michelle! I love cinnamon or nutmeg in tomato sauce so I'd probably like this recipe. Good tip on thinning out the sauce. Maybe I'd leave out the sour cream and add some milk or cream instead?
    PS--don't forget to add your beautiful photo to the recipe ;)
