    Chocolate Butter Toffee
Recipe made for IMI2's December 2019 Holiday Snacks and Treats or Side and Main recipe challenge. This falls in the 'Treat’ category.

What's the holidays without homemade candy. Toffee can be a little challenging to make but I've got the technique down well.
My review: Love homemade toffee with nuts. I did double up on the nuts and left them a little chunkier than finely chopped. I also tossed in some nuts in the toffee itself. Delicious and perfect for the holidays!

Thank you Manella and Janet. I usually make it with almonds or walnuts. I don't make it often because it's so good and I usually eat it all. It's my favorite candy!

Great photo, LindaLMT! Those look so delicious. Toffee is also my favorite candy. I bought everything to make it this year and I'm not sure it's going to happen. Could I have a piece of yours?

Wow, those look delicious Linda!! Almond Roca is one of my favorite candies. I haven't made them since I lived at home ( I usually just buy the tins around Christmas time).
I'm definitely bookmarking to try this recipe! :)

Thank you DIZ and Shona. I will gladly share some with you DIZ. The best toffee I've ever bought is Enstrom's and it's not sold here and with the Florida heat I don't dare have it shipped, it would be like car payment expensive to have it overnighted, LOL! so I make my own.
