Feta, Lemon, Dill Slather by Chuckieb

Absolutely delicious!! The whole family loved it!
I only had half the feta so I cut the recipe in half, which was a bummer because we all wanted more! ;)
I served it on warm flatbread to start, with cucumber and tomato--which was awesome! It reminded me of tzatziki that way. Then we used the rest on baked chicken breasts and lemon-dill roasted potatoes which was great too. Especially the chicken!
I will for sure make this again. I would also love to try it as a dip by adding a bit of yogurt to it. But it's fabulous just the way it is!

I'm so glad you and your family enjoyed the Slather Shona. I haven't made it in a while but I should. It's really fun on an appy tray and just elevates the crackers! :) Your photo is gorgeous. Love the flat bread idea and over potatoes.

Thanks Janet, we sure did love it! My daughter can't eat store-bought tzatziki and when I make it at home with lacto-free yogurt she doesn't really care for it-- but she really loved this feta slather! I was able to find pure sheep's milk feta at Superstore so she could eat this (as opposed to cows milk blends). I can't wait to make it again and try it with different things, like crackers or pita chips etc. Yum yum yum! :)

Beautiful photo! the recipe looks great, something I would like. Ideal for summer when hot weather doesn't want you having a big meal. And YES! would make a great topping for grilled chicken. I bet a spoonful in scrambled eggs would be good too.

    Thanks everyone! :)
Scrambled eggs is an excellent idea Linda! It was so good on chicken, and I bet pork souvlaki would be excellent too! :)
