Garlic And Thyme Mashed Potatoes

One word Delicious!!!
I used 4 cloves of garlic, rosemary and horseradish, and because of dairy issues lactose free milk and Earth balance in place of butter.I took the garlic out before i mashed them, and the horseradish gave the potatoes a nice tang. A keeper for sure.

I love rosemary too, I add both thyme and rosemary if I have it! Especially good if you pair the same herbs in whatever main course you're making.

You're lucky! I can't grow rosemary outside here in Alberta. I had a large rosemary bush on the west coast, it grows like a weed there! I miss having fresh rosemary all the time, it feels wrong to buy it from the store...Lol...but I do. ;)

Shona when i lived in Edmonton i had no trouble growing rosemary, but it was not in the ground. I grew it in pots on my deck, along with basil, and parsley.

These sound so delicious! It's funny, I just made mashed potatoes last night with horseradish added for the first time and LOVED them! I think I would like these even better with the rosemary. I agree, rosemary is one of the best herbs, I've planted one about 10 years ago and it's HUGE now :)
