Grilled Kung Pao Shrimp

    *Made for the August 2018 "Grilling" Recipe Challenge"

    Wow, I was not expecting so much flavor out of this, especially with such a short marinade time! I went a little easy on the cayenne and pepper flakes, just so it wasn't too spicy for my daughter, but I wish I would have used the full amount, cause we could have gone spicier! I grilled these up on a grill pan on my grill just so they wouldn't fall through the grates and I didn't feel like skewering them. Delicious!!!

    I've bookmarked this to try. I was surprised to see it didn't have peanuts in it as any Kung Pao dish I've had has had hot chilis and peanuts.

    Awesome photo! Makes me hungry for shrimp. I like recipes that deliver on flavor without having to marinade all day. It looks like it could be pretty spicy if you were to add all of the pepper. I'm like Chuckieb, I think of hot chiles and peanuts when it comes to Kung Pao. Surprised is doesn't have hot chile paste. Great find!
