Italian Meatballs

  • eastcoaster 7 years ago
I made two pots of my Tomatoe sauce. In one pot I put hamburger in, the other I made meatballs. The meatballs are Bren's recipe:Italian Meatballs.I ate one as is without sauce and they are very good, nice and moist and the flavors are delicious. I did not use cheese and they were still tasty.Thank you Bren for another delicious recipe..

I know what you mean about meatballs being good on their own, Manella. When I make them, we always have to sample one for quality control ;)

Manella, those look really good! You could use those for a lot different things. For some reason, a meatball sub sounds good.

Hi DIZ, thanks, meatball sub? The only one i ever had was about 20 years ago when the Subway
opened up in New Glasgow. Great idea:)

These are delicious meatballs!! Used almond flour in place of the breadcrumbs which worked out nicely. I think I made mine a little bigger than recommended so I cooked mine a total of about 28 minutes. Perfect spaghetti and meatballs night, Thanks Bren!!! Added my pic. to the recipe page :)

All this talk of meatballs makes me want some! It's been a while since we've had them and, since I already have the ingredients for the sauce, I'm going to get the meat for meatballs when I go to the store tomorrow :)

Omg. Hands down best meatballs I've ever made! Fresh garlic makes the difference. I microplaned it. I'm serious, best meatballs. I did use Italian breadcrumbs. Thanks Bren!!! Definitely a do over very soon! Used them first with stuffed shells then in meatball subs. Both were perfect with these gems.

I concur, perfect meatballs!! I love the little bit of spice from the red pepper flake. I didn't have fresh parsley this time, but I didn't miss it! Delicious! :)
