Italian Meatballs

- 2 lg. cloves of garlic, finely minced shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecorino romano cheese, finely grated shopping list
- 1 pound lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 tbs freshly chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- pinch red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine cheese, pepper, red pepper flakes, parsley, egg and breadcrumbs in a bowl and mix well.
- Add the beef and gently mix.
- Form meatballs, roughly 1 1/4 inches.
- Place meatballs on parchment lined cookie sheet and place in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
- Turn meatballs over and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- The meatballs can also be pan fried, this method results in a less dense meatball but isn't as healthy.

I made these to put in my tomatoe sauce, i did not use the cheese .I ate one as is and they are nice and moist and very tasty. The flavors are delicious.Thanks Bren for another great recipe..

Delicious!
I didn't have fresh parsley, but used everything else including the tsp. of Italian seasoning. They were done in 20 minutes. Served with spaghetti and a basil marinara sauce :)
