Italian Shortcrust Cookies

    Made for the 2016 Cookie Swap!

    These are perfect cutout cookies! They have a nice chewiness and taste great, not too sweet, so if your using frosting, it really balances out well. I think I rolled mine too thick but I have a bad rap with not getting the cutout cookie to the baking sheet in one piece, so, I was playing it safe :) These are by no means proffesional looking but hey the kids had a blast decorating them, thanks Manella!!

    Bakerme, I loved this icing! I added a little bit of milk to make it easier to spread, but it really did dry up really nice and glossy! Here's the recipe:
