Fantastic drink! The copper mug keeps this unbelievably cold! Going to have to get more of those. I wanted to make this over the summer when it was extremely hot outside, but just now getting around to it. I doubled the amount of ginger beer and also gave it an extra squeeze of lime. You can't taste the vodka which makes this a highly dangerous drink. I guess that's why they say it kicks like mule. Cheers!

My friend makes these for my husband and her boyfriend (who are friends as well) when we hang out, copper mugs and all! They both love them and rave over them. Bookmarked this so I can make it for my husband whenever! Just gotta find that ginger beer :)

Mommyluvs2ook, I found the ginger beer at World Market. They had so many varieties to chose from. I ended up getting Bundaberg which is made in Australia. I'm going to branch out. As soon as I can get some apple cider, I'm going to try making an apple cider Moscow mule.

That IS outrageous, pso! I didn't even know Walmart carried it. I looked a long time ago and couldn't find it in any of the grocery stores, but I also know it's getting more popular. My mother-in-law found some at a local Natural Foods store and said it was spendy. I just checked World Market and the kind I bought was $6.50 for a 4pk of 12.7oz bottles.
