New England Lobster Roll

  • eastcoaster 5 years ago
Lobster season is over here in Nova Scotia but I kept some lobster meat from our last feed of lobster. I have made many lobster sandwiches and I found this one which is very close to how I make them. Unfortunately I did not have hot dog rolls, but it was delicious just the same.
Thank you Fluffy24 for the recipe.

I`d kill for a lobster roll right now. Had my very first one about 10 years ago on a trip to Nova Scotia. It was worth the wait.

Great photo, Manella! I've never had a lobster roll and you don't know what I'd give to try one. I LOVE lobster! It is very expensive here and the quality is not worth the price. Every year I keep saying we are going to have it for Christmas dinner, but never do. Sometimes I wish we lived on the East coast.

Mommyluvs2cook, thank you. Making one is like making a egg salad sandwich:)))

DIZ thank you, lobster is pricey here also, but our daughter gets it off the dock soon as the boats come in which is much cheaper then the stores..Fishermen are so very nice:))

We did a lot of Nova Scotia Manella and we`ve been twice. Rented a cottage out for a week near Port Mouton. Visited Liverpool, Lunenberg, Halifax, Peggy`s Cove, Wolfville, Digby, Antigonish, It`s a beautiful province and I want to go back. :)

One of my heroes lives in Antigonish Manella and we made a point of going there so that we could visit the `Lyghtesome Gallery`. There is a woman named Linda Johns who is an author, sculptor, artist and naturalist, and she shows some of her works at that gallery. I have all of her books and think she is a really amazing individual. Lunenberg is SO picturesque. I`m envious you are heading there soon. Enjoy!
