My daughter had tried a bite of her first BLT the other day and loved it, so it was a request today for lunch when we had leftover bacon from breakfast. We loved this version! I had never had pesto on a BLT before, and it was a great addition! Used a rosemary garlic focaccia and a mix of red and yellow tomtaoes. It was perfect :) Thanks Foodygirl!

Janet, I so wanted to toast this lol, but I went with it and it was good this way! I think since the bread I used was so flavorful it worked, if it was just plain bread, I think it would have been better toasted.

If you like blue cheese it too goes great with BLTs. Just crumble a little in (less the pesto though).
