    Pumpkin Bread

    Oct/16 Pumpkin Challenge.

This is a wonderful recipe. The pumpkin was not over powering at all just a nice hint. DS#1 said it did not need butter which is correct. Will be making again.

Hi Manella Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. LOL only 1/4 of the bread is left after one meal.

Oh my gosh, thank you, Nadine, for posting such a beautiful photo and great review to my pumpkin bread recipe posted under my old screen name of bestcooker. Your son is right, it doesn't need butter at all! We think it tastes like pumpkin pie without the crust and like to put whipped topping on the slices - yum!

What a beautiful loaf Nadine!! Now that Shona's Pumpkin Scones are all gone, I still have the family asking me for more pumpkin stuff lol, I think they would love this :)

Oh Bakerme the recipe is so good. I used a little butter and loved the taste. LOL if there is any leftover will try a little whipped cream tonight.

Mommyluvs2cook, it makes a great breakfast. Ask me how I know ;)

DIZ, you can always make the small loaves just for you. You'll be surprised how fast one small loaf goes! ;) The bread freezes beautifully, so you can save the other one for another time.

TY Ml2c. Hope they enjoy it just as much as mine does.

DiZ3 the pumpkin flavour is very mild just enough to give the loaf a great taste. DH is not a big fan of pumpkin either but he said that it was great.

DIZ, if you've ever had the pumpkin bread at Starbucks, I've been told by friends that they think mine tastes a lot like theirs. Now if I could only figure out how to put the chopped seeds on top like they do at Starbucks, and figure out what kind of seeds they are, I'd be happy.
