Sausages And Peppers

Great recipe and very close to mine, only thing I did different is I took the sausage out of the casings and made little sausage balls. I also added some finely minced fresh rosemary and basil, I also, used mild Italian Sausage. served it over rice. Delicious.

Great picture, Manella! This is similar to my recipe, too, and we love the combination of sweet Italian suasage, peppers, and onion - yum!

Ours, too :) There's just something about that combination of flavors that makes it a classic.

You had me at 'little sausage balls' Manella! I'd love this in a sandwich. Bookmarked to try.

That looks wonderful, Eastcoaster! The street vendors always grill this and the aroma draws me in every time. So good! I like the idea of putting it over rice as an alternative to a sandwich.

    Looks delicious Manella!!
I love the little sausage balls! I often do that and drop them into soups, so much easier than sautéing and slicing etc..;)

Chuckieb,i like the sausage also, but would much rather have them this way, and i prefer sausage balls as they are easier to deal with:))

DIZ, yup the aroma of this cooking is wonderful:)

Shona, i do the same thing, dropping them in soup, i agree easier:). Hope your children are staying healthy?

This one is good! Great to hear it worked over rice. I have never thought of making sausage balls, only sliced or crumbled, such a good idea! Love your picture :)

Thank you Mommyluvs2cook, yup over rice is the way to go. I tried noodles but it just isn't the same for some reason:)
