Stick To Your Ribs Beef Stew

    It's been a long time since I've had beef stew, so this really hit the spot :). I love the big chunks of carrots in this. I did wait and added the potatoes in the last 30-45 mins. of cooking so that they wouldn't get super mushy. I had to run to pick up my daughter and asked my husband to add a hand full of peas and keep it going so we could eat when I got back. He added over half the bag!!!!! So this basically turned into pea stew lol :-P. It was still good though, thanks goodness we like peas!!! The picture was taken quick and you can't see the beef, oh well!

    Nice photo, Mommyluvs2cook! I like all of the extra peas. YUM! This recipe looks really good. I've been thinking about making a hearty beef stew. We don't eat a lot of stews, but the weather has turned cold and I'm ready for comfort food.

    Thanks ladies and thank you Janet for posting the link, whoops! The gravy was good!! I forgot to add that I did not save the extra flour mixture to thicken it up, I had figured the coated beef would do enough thickening :)
