  I can't fairly critique this recipe, never having the real bananas foster. I condescend to her tastebuds.
  It's good banana bread. It's funny that I always get rave reviews on any item I make with booze, her being a teetotaler and bible thumper and all. Took a chance making the frosting as it's a little showy with the rum. I try to use recipes that simmer out the alcohol and leave the flavor. Isn't that why we all cook with alcohol, to savor the flavor?
  First time I've used any flax seed. Didn't have a problem with it as far as taste or anything else goes, Chuckieb.
  Found a small bunch of bananas very large in girth and length. Took one large and one regular size banana to make 1 1/2 cups.
