  Beef Lombardi Casserole

  Was looking for something to take to a potluck dinner...Midgelet's description said this was good...and it certainly was!
  I really liked the fact that the seasoning is not the usual "italian" herbs of oregano, basil, and garlic (but don't get me wrong...I love each of those flavors!). The bay leaf and green chilies in the meat sauce and the sour cream and green onion in the egg noodles made for a very nice and pleasantly seasoned casserole.
  The most difficult thing about making this casserole was finding and removing the bay leaf so I wouldn't choke someone. :D
  And...I liked the fact that I received compliments!
