    Very sweet candied yams. Easy to make.

    The top layer of potatoes were still not fork tender. The sugars, when melted down left the top layer high and dry. I basted them and extended the cook time a little.

    Although the cornstarch thickened the syrup, I would like to use an additional tablespoon cornstarch to thicken a little more.
