Recipe by Pleclare: Cheese And Onion Bread
This is a biscuit shaped as a bread loaf and held together by a cheese topping from crumbling too bad.
Batter, if you can call it that, is more of a dough quality, being very very thick. Mix it together with something other than a whisk.
Think it would go good sliced and smothered with gravy, served for breakfast.
I would increase the bake time by 5 minutes.

YES! Much better with gravy. Fried the bread slices in a little butter while the gravy was thickening.

What kind of gravy did you make? I'm salivating just thinking about it!

Just a standard roux simmered a minute to remove the flour taste and milk added for a white gravy.
