  Made these this afternoon, along with poster Michellem - we both wanted to see what they would taste like, as she hadn't made the recipe that her friend had given her yet. They did NOT disappoint! The cake is loaded with chocolate, very moist with the coffee and sour cream, and the frosting is fantastic, though I DID add 1/2 cup powdered sugar to make up for the missing malted powder that I didn't have (thought I had it in the pantry - no such luck - sheesh, next time will check first!). Highly recommend these. Cupcakes baked 24 minutes in my oven, filled cups almost to the top and got 28 cupcakes. Only change was substituting powdered sugar for malted powder in frosting (thank goodness I had the malted milk balls to crush on top to make up for the missing flavor!... Michelle did say the malted powder added a nice flavor to the frosting...she added 1/4 cup flour to decrease the runny-ness of the frosting.
