Classic Lasagna

    Recipe by Icecreamuffin: Classic Lasagna
Very good lasagna. A nice firm tender lasagna that sits up square on the plate without sluffing down for a good presentation. All turned out exactly as instructed.
I was timid with the salt and had to add more when eaten.
Only drawback was the fresh basil. Once I got it back from the store and went to use it, it turned out to be bay leaves. Oh my failing eyes! For my herb garden in the summertime, it wouldn't have been a problem. Had to settle for dried basil from the pantry.

Fresh bay leaves!!! How come stores here on Long island don't have those! I always have to use dried!

I've never seen them in stores either. Probably why I picked them up and went without checking any closer.
