    Cracklin Cornbread

My first experience with cracklings. Think I need to toast them next time to make them more crunchy. It's tough chewing on pencil erasers.

Anybody know the proper way to prepare cracklings for use?

    Did I hear cornbread?

Sorry Points...but I don't even know what 'cracklings' are!

I think it is diced pork rind and fat rendered down.

Oh...I think that would be great in any type of bread! I may have to try that next time a make a loaf!

Betty_boop made a change to the recipe to check for fresh cracklings. I'll have to look for a date stamp. I didn't know!
