Dry Rub For Anything by Dugger

I keep meaning to add this to IMI. Part of me was waiting to see if I should try it as written on a roasted pork tenderloin, but I decided to not try it again. I gave it four stars because my Dad, Brother etc...all seemed to like it. But for me it was missing garlic and onion powder. Here is my earlier review from Sept.1st/2016:
"I made this a few weeks ago, as written, on a pork tenderloin. Everyone liked it, but I wasn't overly enthused about it. I followed another reviewers method and cooked this in the slow cooker with onions and garlic. This time, I added some garlic and onion powder to it and rubbed it on chicken leg quarters. Oh my, it was excellent!! So I'm not sure if the change from pork to chicken made the difference, or the added onion and garlic powder. I'll have to try it again on pork again to see if it changes the taste!"

That looks very similar to spice mix I have that includes garlic and onion. With very few exceptions, I don't think you can go wrong adding garlic and/or onion to a dish.

    P.S. What does CRAFT mean??

I see there is a pretty good salt ratio in there. haha
I would have to at least have garlic powder in it! I wonder if Pso ever used this on anything?
Its a very pretty color. :)

Beautiful photo, Cosmicmother! Odd it wouldn't have onion or garlic powder in it. Very similar to some Southern Style BBQ rubs I've tried. Typically they rub it on the meat, then toss in a smoker and finish by brushing with BBQ sauce. By the time it's done, you would never know it had a rub to begin with. lol! I shouldn't say that. A master BBQ chef could tell the difference. Me, no!

Ok, I figured out what it is.... I do not like cumin on pork!!
I tried this again on pork. This time on seared pork loin chops. I really liked it on roasted chicken leg quarters with the added onion and garlic, but didn't care for it on the pork. The family liked it, so I guess it's just me. I remember a long time ago that I made a ham and pea soup that had a little cumin in it and I didn't care for that either, so now I know----it's pork and cumin together that turns me off! ;)
