  Recipe by MomTo3Boys: Emerils Essence
  A very nice rub. Lots of flavor with not too much heat. Rubbed it on some chicken tenders, then soaked in buttermilk, then breaded them with crushed honey nut cheerios.

  Doesn't have to be honey nut cheerios. Any breakfast cereal that can be coarse ground up for a breading will do. Bread crumbs or coarse ground dried bread cubes (croutons) will do too. Even fresh stale bread ground and baked will work. I use the honey nut cheerios because they have become old enough not to soak up milk and get soft, or so mother says, as a breakfast cereal so I am repurposing them as a breading.
