Fannie Farmers All-American White Bread

Recipe by Bostonmargy: Fannie Farmers All American White Bread
A good loaf that's a little on the firm side but that might be from my combination technique as I did not follow the recipe exactly.
Has a tight grain with good flavor. Has an extended rise time because of the reduced amount of yeast (which should lend to more flavor).
Hand mixed and kneaded the loaf. Used powdered milk and added the appropriate amount of make-up water.
Loaf turned out a little darker on the crust than the author's picture. Could have been my fault too, as I let it bake out to the full time without checking it.
