    Recipe has some trouble IMHO. The batter starts singing around the edges at a minute and a half, half the required pan time on each side. The discs are still crunchy in the middle after required pan time. I like my sweet potatoes soft, just like my regular potatoes. Had to reduce the element to a medium heat to keep from burning hard the batter.
    Fixed the crunchy issue by processing the potato discs with 2 Tablespoons butter in the microwave in a vented dish. Five minutes, shake the container, then 5 more minutes. Potatoes came out soft and edible.
    If the recipe picture is an example of the raw potato discs, they are not cut to a half an inch as the instructions indicate. Maybe if my discs were thinner they would have cooked through using the recipes instructions.
    Not recommended for the Reviews profile until issues are fixed.
