Grouper in Potato Crust

  • keni 15 years ago
We had some grouper brought down from a friend and wanted to try somethin' different with it...found grizzleybear's Grouper in Potato Crust and tried it...delicious. The recipe is a bit vague, which is fine with me, so I can at least say my interpretation of the recipe was a hit. I took a pic and emailed him to see if he'd like me to post it.

That does sound good! Sometimes when I make fish its bland, but the potatoe crust might solve that. I love Chilean Sea Bass...maybe next time I make it, I'll try the potato crust. Can't wait to see your pic of it. Let us know when its up!

It's posted at AR, already, lillian...with the stupid editing, of course ;)

I did add a touch of seasoning when I made it, but the taters browned up nicely and the flavor was mild, and nice...since it was a potato crust, I made the "sauce" a bit thicker, like a thin gravy...it wasn't the prettiest thing, but it was soooo good over this particular preparation for fish.

    Everyone was pleased. :)

I just saw it and it looks delicious! What did AR delete from your copy?

Also your Breakfast Kabobs look so cool! Very unique! Was that strawberry pancakes on there? I have to look at that recipe!
