Are the cardamom pods expensive...I know that the ground cardamom is pretty pricey. I guess I would find them on the spice aisle or like the aisle with like the Indian, asian, mexican foods? This sounds really good, I'd love to try it!

I made it and love it. I quite like the thought of being able to make my own chai tea, particularly as this recipe produces flavor far better than the commercial alternative. Last night, I noticed that the commercial tea that I have, has quite a lot of finely ground ingredients, that have fallen through the more course ingredients, to the bottom of the container. This situation explains why the commercial tea lacks the flavor that is obtained with this recipe. I am sure that I will not be bothered to by the commercial chai tea again. Particularly, when I usually keep all ingredients on hand anyhow.

Not yet, I am a little phobic of milk in tea. I'll see if I can conjure up some courage and try it over the weekend. I'll let you know. I am actually having a chai at this moment. I find they are particularly good before going to bed, which is where I'm heading very soon.
