Missdrea's Chili Cheese Dog Tater Tot Casserole

  I stumbled upon this recipe throught a friend that was using the site to find a recipe for tater tot casserole. It was so interesting that I had to try it. I did saute the onions a bit before adding it to the casserole. Also, I like to use onion rings on my tater tot casserole along with the taters tots, and I did that with this recipe as well. Instead of microwaving the tots and o-rings, I cooked them in the oven so they were nice and crisp. There was no amount of cheese listed in the recipe, so I used between 1 and 2 cups. All in all, a fun recipe and family-friendly. Unique combination. I served it topped with sour cream and sliced green onion.
