  I finally(!) had time to make these last night and boy am I happy I did. I love oatmeal cookies and cherries, so these were absolutely perfect for me. Quick and easy to put together and get in the oven. The recipe indicates that you are to form the dough into balls, but mine was too wet for that, so I just used a two-spoon method. The first batch started to burn a bit on the bottoms at 8 minutes and the second batch only needed 6 (obviously the sizes were different!). I didn’t have any parchment on hand, but a little nonstick spray on my sheet trays worked just fine. These are soft and chewy cookies that are addictive!   Oooh these look good! I usually have dried cranberries on hand instead of cherries and although I try not to bake much in the cookie line just because I eat too many if I do :) I just might have to break down and try these!
