I guess maybe Kristopher should add an automatic translate feature to this site!

Yeah, I noticed her recipes before. I put them in Google translator, and she is posting in Russian.

This was brought up in Help, and I added the link to Google Translator.... I can't imagine adding that to the site... especially when it would be exactly like what's already out there with Google. :)

I've translated a few, but not many... I hope she gets some replies from fellow Russian speakers! Leaves me out. hehe

@ Keni... yeh, that was the foodie's recipes I was referring to in "help", and I tried translating her recipes with the app at dictionary.com, but even with that assistance I came up with terms such as "raster" for measurement, and I'm just not in a position right now to be putting that much time into translation. The one I tried to work with, I believe was a dessert recipe. It would truly be interesting to come up with a solution that would allow us to readily understand and ultimately try what she is offering.

I don't know which one you were after, but here's what google gives for her CHOCOLATE Muffin with "Nutella" AND NUTS

Unless you have a human translator for every represented language, though, I don't think you'll find a much better option than this. :( Google is pretty good, I think, and quick and easy.

    # Products (mandatory) for 12 pieces.
    # 1 / 2 cup sugar
    # 1 / 3 cup cocoa powder
    # 1 / 4 cup milk
    # 1 egg
    # Optional, but allows replacement:
    # 1 / 2 cup pasta - Nutella / any chocolate / nut / of halva (short, sweet and zhirnenkoy)
    # 200 ml (1 cup) sour cream / yogurt / Eshel / yogurt
    # 2 cups flour with baking powder or 2 cups plain flour 2 tsp. baking
    # Not Required *:
    # 1 / 2 cup chocolate chips of any shopping list
    # 1 / 2 cup coarsely chopped nuts of any

    * 1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Grease muffin tins or place them in paper sleeve (5 cm in diameter). In a large bowl sift flour and cocoa, add sugar and stir. Add chocolate chips and nuts (if desired) and stir. In the center make a groove.
    * 2. In a separate bowl beat egg, add milk and selected dairy products (eg sour cream) and paste ("Nutella," or another). Mix thoroughly into a smooth mixture. Add it to the hole in the bowl with the flour. Slowly stir with a spoon, but only up until all components have been reunited and are moistened.
    * 3. Distribute tins, put in the oven. Bake approximately 15 minutes. Muffins should increase in volume and be sustainable. A toothpick from the center should come out dry.
    * Allow to stand in tins a few minutes, then remove and cool completely.
    * Store in an airtight container. Can also be frozen and warmed before serving.

@ Keni... WOW, that one is way better than what I came up with. So I went back to my original post and bookmarked the Google translator link into my Favorites Bar. And I think that was probably the recipe I had attempted, I know it was a dessert.

LOL! Thanks Keni! But I can't be cutting & pasting and Googling just to read a recipe! And I was just kidding about the translator feature...I know Kristopher is probably looking into that right now! lol!

I wonder if there are alot of Russian speaking members on this site?

I don't know, but I sure hope the site becomes big enough that those recipes get some attention, too :)

I know you were at least half kidding, but I also knew this was mentioned in Help, so I figured I'd add the same response. The google thing, for anyone who really is interested, took about 40 seconds... really easy and seems pretty easy to understand, too, I think.

Well at least she knows how to use the translator! She responded to my comments, about her recipes, in English! Now too bad she can't use the translator when she posts her recipes! lol! Or maybe we have another troll on this site!
