Palak Panir Spinach With Fresh Cheese
Made this last night and it was great. Didn't have the fenugreek leaves so I actually used curry leaves. I used panir and just regular cumin seeds as I didn't have black ones. I didn't have asafoetida either and I'm going to have to go check that out as a lot of recipes seem to call for just a pinch of it and I don't even know what it is.
I used a cup of Greek Yogurt and I don't know why but it curdled on me when I added it to the spinach mixture. The due date wasn't until a month away so it was totally fresh. If anyone has any suggestions on how to avoid that I'd appreciate hearing them.
So...all in all the dish tasted very good but didn't 'look' as good as it could have.
    I'll totally make it again.

Greek yogurt is a lot thicker than regular yogurt. Maybe the extra liquid in the regular yogurt helps make the dish creamier. I'm no yogurt expert, just MHO.

Thanks Points. I'll give regular yogurt a try next time.
