  Simple and easy. I put maple and butter extracts in it to give it a nice maple taste. You can use whatever extracts you have on hand to mix up the flavors if you can get tired of maple.
  If transferring to a plastic bottle, cool syrup first or the bottle may try to shrink. It does happen.
  Saves $$$ on store bought syrup, especially maple. No, it's not the real thing but tastes a lot like it.
