  My first pear cake. Nice ginger flavor. Cake maybe could have been a little sweeter but that could have been my fault. Recipe calls for super-fine sugar. And instead of figuring out what that was, I assumed it was powdered sugar (which it is not). But the cake tastes good just the same. Recipe took 3 pears for a pound.
