    Recipe by Pelo2000: Pie Crust
A nice crust. Rolls out well and transfers without breaking.

What do you suppose the apple cider vinegar is for? I've never seen that in a pie crust recipe.

I think vinegar or vodka can be used. I'm guessing it's enough water to let the dough come together well then evaporate quickly to let the crust set well.
    Or something like that.

Love pie crusts with vinegar! The acid in the vinegar (or lemon juice) helps to tenderize the dough and keep it light and flaky :) Most commonly used with butter crusts.

I wondered, too, so thanks for explaining that, Cosmicmom!
