Roast Beef Cooked In Pasta Sauce Italian Style

I made this today and got two thumbs up from Hubs. It's fairly easy to make and comes together quickly. The beef was so tender and moist.

Hi Bren, this is a nice different way to cook a roast! I always do it the same, throw it in the crock pot add a little beef broth, seasonings, garlic and some worcesterchire sauce. This one sounds great, thanks for sharing!

I used a sirloin tip roast, about two pounds, but I think that it would work with any cut. I knew that the tomatoes would tenderize the beef because I put cubes of beef in my pasta sauce.
