    Running With Scissors Chicken Noodle Soup

    I told DetroitTokyo that I wasn't going to rate this or post it on IMI since I changed the cooking method and I started off with seasoned, marinated chicken. HOWEVER, I'm adding it here anyway because I've never added cream cheese to chicken noodle soup and it made the broth SO good.

    When I heated up the leftovers, I added a small amount of cornstarch slurry as was listed as optional in the recipe. Between the thickening that it gave the broth, and the creaminess of the cream cheese, it was like a spicy, comforting bowl of chicken and noodles. Excellent and delicious.

    If you're wondering about the Running with Scissors part, you'll have to read DetroitTokyo's explanation... ;) My recommendation is to stick with the tried and true, but maybe that's just me.

    As for cutting carrots with scissors, I have tried it before. It didnt work for me. Took more effort trying to keep the carrot in place.
