Santa Fe Chili

This is one of those recipes that are perfect to just throw together when you have a little time and just let it cook and get better with time :) Of course I made it less of an easy throw together, just because of what I had on hand lol. First off halved the amount of ground beef. I didn't have the ranch dressing but I did have something called "Creamy Peppercorn" from Penzey's, which I think is their version of ranch. Also, no canned beans on hand, so I cooked up some dry pinto beans, and used fresh corn, as I had 2 ears to use up. I added beef broth as well, this would have ended up way too thick for our taste. I think I maybe added 4-5 cups? This turned out very flavorful and perfect served with saltines :)

Beautiful photo, Mommyluvs2cook! I can see why you halved the recipe. The original makes enough for an army!

Wonderful photo ... I could eat the photo and be satisfied! I love when you can see a recipe. I'm ashamed of myself, I should be taking photos.
