Warm Spiced Parsley Marinade With Ginger

I made this to go on beef skirt steak today. I had 1/2 lime looking at me so the juice of that plus the zest went in as well. It tastes just great. It made about 1 cup. I used half on the steak and am VERY pleased to have 1/2cup in the fridge waiting for another outing. I believe it will soon be featured as the seasoning in some quinoa with edamame.

Picture posted. Not a fabulous picture. Certainly not as lovely as Ginger Grant :)

Had the steaks for Sunday dinner. I was very very pleased. I don't think I have ever cooked with fresh jalapeno before. I'd always been afraid it would be too hot for me. This was a really pleasant gentle heat. I thought the spice combination worked perfectly and wouldn't have changed a thing, however, Mr. SuchAFuss is not a cumin fan and he found the cumin noticeable. I know that many aren't. I thought it was well balanced in there. I notice it didn't stop him from chowing down. So it wasn't that over powering. He is of a nature to walk away from food if it bothers him at all.

I love it when you can use a recipe for more than one dish! It sounds like a good one!
