I need to create a menu to promote a spiritual cleansing. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm aware that this reply is over 6 months late, but I wanted to post how I would have handled the matter, for any other readers. I'd love to know how you eventually handled the menu planning, and how it worked out. Please post again, Alma.

I would have planned a meal with the five flavors, in order to reach the entire food-bearing spirit. Those flavors are Sour, Salty, Sweet, Spicy and Sassy (bitter). Each person has their own idea of what fits into those categories, but for me, Sour would entail Pickles, kosher dill ones, cold and crisp. Salty could be anything, including the pre-packaged entrees available at the market, which are heavy with sodium. Sweet speaks for itself, but I would make it fruit for the spirit and for the body's benefit. Spicy could be my wonderful Chocolate Chili, which is indeed spicy but not hot, and smooth and gorgeous. Sassy could be Lemonade the way I like it which is slightly bitter, English style.

Wonderful Idea, I ended up just making some lavendar ice cream and some soft mead.... Things didn't go so well... The person, I don't think was really ready to be cleansed...

If you ever need it again, a fruit-nut and probiotic (plain yoghurt for example) do a nice job. No sugar, yes honey. Maybe a cream made out of pitted dates, yoghurt and berries (dried for thickening). Yum!
