    When I was growing up my mom used to make a hamburger stew. It was hamburger and assorted canned vegetables. It was a very frugal recipe and I don't know if it was ever even written down.
    It was one of the simplest things and I have the hardest time trying to recreate it.
    The taste was similar to Campbell's vegetable soup.
    Any ideas out there?
