New Years Dinner - Please help me :o)

  Hiya!!
  Hope you don’t think this rude but Im going to jump right into my scenario…
  Right so here’s the thing - I’m off skiing this December with 13 other people. We're going to France and we have decided that New Years will be done in culinary style...
  Between the 14 of us (eeeck) we will be cooking a posh New Years Eve dinner. Myself, my husband and 2 friends have drawn the lucky card of "Main Course" that the 4 of us will cook this 1 main course together.
  
  Please could I ask for some fabulous French cuisine main course ideas that will be easy to cook for 14 people. One person is a vegetarian.
  I want a real WOW factor meal that looks like it took ages but really it was easy - but I want them to remember the time they had this fab meal!
  French dish would be a nice touch but certainly not essential. Please could you help me??
