Good Morning Ladies! Happy bright sunny day to start.

It's my little Bella's birthday today!! 9 years ago I caught her in the field she had been dumped. She got a sliver of pineapple on her morning salad and I bought a small watermelon the other day at the store and will cut that up later so she can have a bite on her evening salad. I just love her!!

No clue yet about dinner but will probably run over to Home Depot in a bit to get the weather stripping for the bottom of the garage doors. Not sure when I'll tackle the project because that side of the house gets full sun and it's hot. I'll wait for an overcast day or wait period for somewhat cooler weather.
Not much more happening here. My raccoon is getting very lazy and shows up a few times for food so she is only getting fed once and that's it. She needs to learn to not be completely dependent. I hope that's the reason and not that she has a nest of hungry babies.

Good Morning Linda! Happy Birthday to Bella and I love all her special treats!!!! :) LOL @ your raccoon showing up on a regular basis for food. They're clever!!! Glad you're enjoying that book. Caminee doesn't have a Costco membership but her Mother does and she goes with her in Montreal. But...her Mom likes to speed through full throttle and not go down each aisle and Caminee much prefers going with me who takes my time and checks everything out. LOL. So I just buy whatever it is she wants and she sends me an e-transfer. Yesterday she spent $540!!! I couldn't believe it. But she wanted to stock up on dry goods and cleaning supplies and thinks she's good now through the fall. Goodness on your weather and the thunder and lightening. I heard Texas is getting hit pretty hard. Hope Michelle is okay. Yum on scallops last night.

Sorry to hear about one of your Church member's grandchildren having Covid Karen. :(

Dave, Cam and the girls didn't leave yesterday til around 5. They LOVED the home made pizzas for lunch. I made a ton of them. As they were starting to pack up they started their Subaru and it wouldn't start!! Argh. It's a new vehicle too. So they called Subaru roadside assistance who sent over a local tow truck driver and it turned out to be a dead battery. He got them all charged up and they were good to go. Craufurd our neighbour rang the doorbell at 11 and had Billie and Rosie in hand so the girls freaked out and got to go outside and play with them for a good hour and a half. :)

Jim and I had leftover shishkebobs for dinner last night and we'll have chicken parm tonight. I'll add some mozzerella. LOL. We're going to head in to town in just a bit and go to Ikea as we want to buy a Poang chair and footstool to bring to Rainy River with us.

I made scrambled eggs on toast for brekkie. It's another hot one here today. Wishing everyone a good one!!!!!

I too like to walk up and down the aisles at Costco. Regardless if I need anything or not it's still fun to look and you never know there might be something that shows up worth buying. The clothing section is fun too. My bills usually total between $300-500 when I go but too I treat myself to some pricey items like Prime grade beef, scallops, king crab, etc. which are still less than what I'd pay any other place.
That's awesome the girls got to play with the dogs. I'm sure the dogs enjoy it too. What kind of dogs?
Yum on leftovers and always nice to not have too cook. Enjoy your trip in to town.

    Happy birthday to Bella!

Shishkebobs do sound good, Janet. Good the girls got to play with the dogs.

We received a survey from Sam's Club about our shopping experience in Independence. We don't have a membership and were NOT in Independence on that day in question. Wayne is waiting to speak with a representative to clear it up.

Wayen is scheduled for a hair cut and I am getting a body perm Wednesday, have port cleanse Wed morning -- do two things on same day. We will grab breakfast out as my appt is 8:30 and hair cut / my perm is 12:00.

Prior to the Pandemic Jim and I used to be in Costco once a week and sometimes two, so my total was never that high really. Now we go every second week pretty much but that's still pretty regular. Our neighbours dogs Billie and Rosie are Chocolate Labs. They're just beautiful. That's the dog I would get if I were getting one. :)

I must have forgotten you had a port Karen. So does my Mom and she has to get hers cleared every month? I forget. They come to her apartment to do it though which is nice. Sounds like you've got a busy agenda tomorrow!

Jim and I got the chair cover but the chair was out of stock at Ikea until Thursday so we'll go back. We also bought a lemon reamer for the RR house and a neat organizer we can hang in the bedroom closet there as we don't have a lot of storage in the bedrooms yet.

Went to Bulk Barn. It's the first time I've been there since pre Covid. You use hand sanitizer and then you put on gloves and then they let you get what you need from the bulk bins yourself which is nice. I bought some cupcake liners and sprinkles, and some thyme. We grabbed a Pita sandwich for lunch at Sinbad Bakery. SO delicious. The guy accidentally made us three instead of two so we'll share the extra one tomorrow for lunch as I also have a wee bit of pizza left too.
