I have started potato salad, cleaned the stovetop and even the burners! Yay me!

Finding the countertop is a never ending job! Dishes are in the dishwasher and the ones I retrieved from the refrigerator are waiting to be washed or popped into the DW as soon as it finishes the cycle. It all depends on how lazy I feel....ha ha!

After two days refusing to exit the door, A.C. Decided to run outside again. Literally. He raced around the back of the house full speed. We think something in the woods is interesting him, or maybe scaring him since he did not want to go outdoors all day yesterday. Wayne thinks he is bothered by the heat. But we decided he may be enthralled by something else. Hopefully not dangerous! The rest are tired of the weather and staying inside.

Have to go. Wayne's buddy is here. See you later.

I was thinking the same thing, Karen. I hope everything goes well with Wayne's angioplasty this week. How long has he had a stent in his heart?

Glad to hear your foot is coming along, Laurie.

Janet, posted on FB that they had transferred her Mom to Fort Francis yesterday. It is about an hour from Rainy River so poor Janet and Jim will have quite a drive when they go visit her.

Nice to hear you enjoyed that restaurant so much, Kimmer.

How is your neck feeling today, Shona?

What are you up to today, Linda?

It looks like you are having a blast in New Mexico, Michelle. Love the Roswell Pics!

It is hot humid and sunny here today. Den did the grocery shopping then brought home MacDonald's for brunch and now he is mowing the lawn. We had ambulances across the street and I was worried about Frank who is 97 years old and still lives by himself. They weren't here for him it was his neighbour's wife Peggy who they took away in an ambulance. She and her HB are in their 80's. I know she has some health problems. Actually, both of them do. Den is having cheeseburgers and oven fries for dinner and as usual, I am not sure what I am having yet? I am still weeding out my clothes. It may take forever Lol:)

    Wishing everyone a great day!

    SP Karen.
In the hot weather, potato salad is perfect. I wonder what is up with AC? He has always been a hyper cat so I guess it will be a mystery until you figure out what is up with him.

    Good afternoon Everyone.

I have DH with me this weekend ... since I had to take him for a doctor appointment Friday I kept him with me and will return him Sunday after dinner. He's not bad when he's here, not exhausting like he use to be but still having him here changes my routine considerably.
After breakfast we went to the grocery store and by the time we came out it was pouring rain. It's still raining so I'm glad I bought some stuff I can cook indoors (shrimp for cocktail, crab cakes, lobster tail) ... guess that'll be for dinner with a tossed salad since I have so a lot of salad ingredients.
Will probably stay in today because of the weather ... maybe we will go to our fitness center later this afternoon. I was hoping for a swim but that's not happening.
Had leftover soup that I made for dinner last night today for lunch.

I swear Karen I no sooner clean and it's needs cleaning again. Crazy AC, wonder what's up with him? We will probably never know. Hope whatever it is it's not harmful.

I couldn't imagine living on my own at 97 Joce! Wow. Hope your neighbor is ok. Are you close to them? I was thinking of burgers too (maybe tomorrow) and bought ground beef. I love mine with the hot sauce they use for chix wings and bought some of that too. Sorting thru clothes takes some time. Sometimes your sure about getting rid of something and other times not.
Thanks for letting us know about Janet and Michelle. I keep thinking about Facebook and may venture to get on.

Morning!! Sounds like you are getting a lot done Karen!

That's too bad about your neighbor's Joce, hope all is well :( Wow on Frank living by himself at 97! Yum on cheeseburgers, I could so go for one of those right now :)

Janet, I briefly read up on what's been going on with your Mom, I'm so sorry! That's a long drive you and Jim will have to take to visit her, but y'all will get it all figured out.

Like Joce said, we visited Roswell NM yesterday. It's known as the "Alien Town" lol, here is a little info on what is believed to happened https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roswell_UFO_incident

Today a bunch of people, about 30, are coming over to Michael's Mom's for a get together so we have been chopping and prepping all morning. Having a blast since I have missed being in the kitchen! It will be chicken and veggie kabobs. Tomorrow is Michael's Grandfather's memorial. It will be catered and in a rented out building. I think we are going home a little earlier than we had planned, probably early Tuesday morning. It will be about a 12-13 hour drive.

Anyway, hi to everyone missing, have a fantastic Saturday!!

I am very pleased your HB is behaving now when he is home, Linda. It makes it easier for sure. Your dinner tonight sounds Amazing! All of our neighbours in this neighbourhood keep an eye on each other. Frank is a sweetheart and everyone is fond of him. Most of our neighbours are elderly. We have a private ODD board on FB so if and when you decide to join FB let us know and we will add you to it.

Wow on all the people coming today, Micheal. Nice to be able to work in a kitchen again. I hope all goes well with Michael's Grandfather's memorial tomorrow. UGH on the 12-13 hour drive! Enjoy your get-together today.

    Hi all.
Wow on living alone at 97!
Glad your DH is doing better at home, Linda.
Michelle, have a safe drive home Tuesday. I am watching a program on UFO's....so Roswell fits right in. Ha ha!
It is 101F outside. AC is out somewhere but hopefully he will come in later. The other two must have dislike the extreme heat and came inside.
