Sunday Solitude

Hello out there. Is anybody home?

It is almost four, and we just got home from church. The kittens are happy to be let out of prison and are romping all over. The adult cats are more sedate, but are hanging close. The big rain / storm day fizzled Tiny bit here and a bit there. All rain helps!

Last night the game camera captured two raccoons on the porch, and the blond raccoon peaking his head on to the porch. Poor Geezer sniffed the entire porch....he was not thrilled at smelling scent of raccoon. My one lavender plant was practically demolished, will have to repot and see if it survives. We may have to enlist the help of Wayne's friend to set a live trap, and remove them.

A nap is I the foreseeable future if kitties cooperate.

    Wow it's dead in here!

Hi Karen! Didn't you think the blonde raccoon had died or something? Hope your lavender plant survives.

Been cleaning the aftermath of the party up all day. Phew! It poured down all morning and then stopped right at the start of the party! The bouncy house people still wouldn't bring it though, not sure, so my neighbor posted something on some website that we were in desperate need of a bouncy house. Someone immediately replied that they had one and would be here in an hour. Woohoo, Caiden's party wasn't ruined!! The kids had a blast on the huge water slide. The adults did too after the kids went to bed :P It was so slippery lol! Our water bill will be nice and high too.

Okay don't scold me but Ashley and I went and got our nose pierced last night. It's a teeny tiny pink stuf and cute :) I had asked my mom if I did it would she be mad and she said no, that she liked them. So it's done! Dinner will be chili from the freezer topped with pico and cheese. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!!

Hi guys. Just popping in quick, quick, quick. (Michelle I think you'd look so cute with a little nose stud). :) Jim and I are in Batchawana Bay. Dinner is in 1/2 hr. Have had a great first leg of the trip. Super good time in Sudbury with my girlfriend. Went to the bar "The Townhouse" in Sudbury where Stompin' Tom actually wrote that song about. Toooo funny. Got treated to dinner out. Two pizzas, and two appys and lots of talking. Such a nice time. Rained today but it's gorgeous countryside. Hope all is well. Will try catch up soon.

    Hi again.

I was happy to see my blond raccoon alive, he sure is aging, though. It has been so long I was afraid he was a goner, considering his eyes. Not so glad to see the other two ....esp. the larger of the two. He is a celebrity of sorts in the area, unless he does something bad like breaking and entering chicken coops!LOL!

Good rescue for the birthday party, Michelle. I was forty before getting my ears pierced, that is the last part of my anatomy to undergo that procedure. Gee, does that say I am getting old? Hahahahaha!

It is always good to see old friends, Janet. Sounds like you are having a great time.

Must go. Geezer is outside waiting for his dinner. See you later.
