Good Morning Everyone! It`s been a whirl of social activity the last few days! I`m starting to fade a little. LOL!

Linda, the drive to St. Catharines from Mississauga takes about an hour. We arrived yesterday afternoon around 3. Very annoying about how busy it was at your Friday night dinner out.

Hope the furnace guy came and went with success Joce. Jim`s cousin`s furnace died yesterday but the company came out and had it fixed up by the afternoon. The ignitor had gone and it was covered under warranty. I`ve heard of Tens machines. Hope you really like it. Where are you going for Dim Sum today? I`m envious. We haven`t been in a while.

Your dinner at Matt`s sounded lovely Karen. I would love Pecan Turtle cheesecake! Oh my goodness! Burgers for dinner sounded yummy.

Jim`s cousin`s wife accompanied us to the Filipino supermarket yesterday morning and all of us had a blast. We tried a dish of Lechon Paksiw which I think is Pork stew. The sauce was lovely but the meat had A LOT of fat in it which we just picked out. I bought some frozen pork skewers and offered them up at Jim`s brothers place for appys when we arrived. Have some goodies to bring home as well.

We had a nice lunch with Jim`s Aunt and her family yesterday at the Inn. Super overpriced though and to be honest the food (which should have been excellent at those prices) was just mediocre. For eg. Jim`s cousin ordered shaved prime rib on a bun and it was tiny and $22. Jim had a broccoli cheese quiche and it was maybe 4 inches in diameter with a tossed salad on the side (and not very exciting either) and it was $16. I had Pad thai. Not a beansprout in sight and rather plain. But the company was great.

Jim`s brother and SIL made Lasagna with Garlic bread and salad for dinner last night which was yummy. More cousins came over to join us and we had a house full of people. I headed to bed at 11 but most were up past midnight.

Not sure of our plans today but my cousin`s daughter Jaimie is coming here to join us for dinner tonight so that will be fun. Like I say...it`s been a whirl of social activity.

We slept late today and I woke up with a sinus headache. It's an overcast drizzly wet day here thus the sinus headache. LD woke us up around 5:30 a.m. with a tummy ache. He did what he had to and then we all went back to bed.

An hour to St. Catharines isn't bad at all Janet. Is it further out or closer in for your drive home? The Filipino market sounds awesome! and glad you were able to find some stuff to bring home. Bummer on the expensive meal not being so good. I agree, big prices deserve big expectations and should be such. Lasagna sounds good and now you have me wanting some. Will have to go to the Italian market soon.

Do let us know how you like your Tens machine Joce. I would love to get one! and didn't even know they now sell them affordably. Enjoy your day out with the kids.

Organizing paperwork is one of my least favorite things Karen. Dinner at Matt's sounded like it was great. Nothing wrong with a good burger for dinner.

Not much going on today here. Washing bedding and will probably vacuum and dust. It's yucky out so staying indoors and home is ideal. I pulled out a pork loin to thaw for dinner and will roast it with some vegetables.

We just came back from a long walk outside and got our 10,000 steps in.

Wow pretty slow here the last couple of days.
Yesterday I ran in the Sole Sister 5k. It was really cold and the Fibromyalgia is not liking that today. Woke up hurting all over. Basically feeling like I fell down a flight a stairs. Took a half a Flexeral and some Ice and went back to bed. Feel better now.
Last night we had a girls neighbor night at my friend Wendy’s. We watched crazy rich Asians movie and ordered Chinese food.
Today Im Just lounging. Frank is still on BRAT diet so I made myself some frozen pizza for dinner.
I bought the tens machine one Amazon I think it was like $30. It I’m lazy and have only used it twice

I bought the Tens Machine on Amazon as well, Laurie and so far it works just great!

Good for you running the 5K Laurie but sorry you`re hurting today. Hope Frank is feeling a lot better. Jim and I have seen `Crazy Rich Asians`. It was okay. Ordering Chinese food and watching it would be even better. :)

I was very, very sorry to see that Laura`s hubby had passed away Joce. :( How awful.
