Hey thanks for including us Alaskans in this group! Just stumbled upon it and can't wait to check some more of it out, well that is when I don't get side tracked from checking out all the wonderful recipes!

Hi, My Navy guy flew the A-6 and we were stationed in Oak Harbor for almost 5 years. Both of our kids were born at the base hospital. We loved exploring the area. There are some incredible towns in the NW, including Levenworth. I think if my hubby had been home more often, I would have had a better experience. Yes, I had moss growing on me. I also loved the tulip season. Beautiful! I'm adding "Seabolts Smoked Salmon Pate" to my recipe side...I snagged it from Sally at RecipeZaar. Hope she doesn't mind. We lived off of that stuff. This is a great site and a great idea. Thanks!

HI was born in Bremerton many years ago, and now travel several months a year. comes with being retired. Bremerton will always be my home. While we own a motorhome we travel in, we also have a home in Bremerton. I do still have the webs between my toes. Looking forward to getting to know others from the great Pacific Northwest. J

Bremerton is a beautiful place. I'm glad to hear that your toes are webbed, you need them. Very moist area, which is why everything, including people...are green and healthy! We have several friends who chose to retire there.
    I'm extremely jealous!
