I love this... I am the weird one in our family when hungry.. will open a can of spinach, drain add butter salt pepper and heat in micro for a "snack!" I love it.. anyway it's cooked!

A friend of ours gave a shudder one night and said she didn't like spinach. I said, "You mean you never had anything you like with it in it!" Seems to me, you start eating spinach in other dishes, pretty soon you're eating it by itself. The typical reaction to spinach is just like when people say they don't like meatloaf - it's what they've been taught. Of course, a lot of us don't like things that our school cafeterias served up cold with grease floating on top, but I try not to let that prejudice me. I've cooked so many good recipes from this site, my husband is now a convert!

LOL, that's true Sweet. My son learned to eat spinach because he loved spinach dip! I am one of the weird ones, though. I loved spinach when I was little. Mom opened the can, heated it on the stove with butter and salt. MMMMMM! I always loved it! I don't know if I liked the Popeye cartoons because he ate spinach, or if I liked spinach because Popeye ate it...LOL
